What the Institute is, what it publishes, what it will not do, and how to reach it.
§1What the Institute is
An independent, non-commercial evidence-synthesis body. It was constituted in 2023 and publishes on a quarterly assessment cycle.
The Institute's output is a document set, not a feed. Every surface carries a document identifier, a version, a publication date, a last-reviewed date, a next-review date, and a stated certainty where a certainty judgement is being made. Documents are superseded rather than replaced, and superseded versions remain published at a stable address so that citations to them remain resolvable.
The Institute does not sell, prescribe, dispense, broker or manufacture. It accepts no payment from any supplier it assesses. It holds no interest in any manufacturer, pharmacy, laboratory or supplier named in its documents.

§3What it will not do

The Institute conducts all correspondence in writing through its secretariat. It holds no telephone number, operates no messaging channel, and has no account on any messaging platform. Correspondence purporting to come from the Institute through any such channel is not from the Institute.
Written correspondence, including submissions to an open comment period and submissions of third-party evidence, is addressed to the secretariat at the postal address published in each consultation notice. Submissions must carry the respondent's name, credentials, affiliation and declared interests; the Institute publishes no anonymous submission.

The Institute's board, assessment committee, secretariat, external reviewers, specialist advisers, comment-period correspondents and evidence contributors are listed in the register, 207 entries in total, each with its declared interests published in full.
