Incretin dose equivalence
Illustrative equivalence anchored on placebo-subtracted weight change at the highest dose evaluated in each pivotal programme.
§1Calculator
§2The anchor and its limits
The anchor is the placebo-subtracted percentage weight change reported at the highest dose evaluated in each compound's pivotal programme. Two compounds are treated as equivalent at doses producing the same anchored effect.
The anchor models nothing else. It does not model titration schedule, tolerability, glycaemic effect, cardiovascular effect, duration of exposure, or the population in which the anchoring estimate was obtained. Two of the compounds in the list have only phase 2 evidence, and a phase 2 estimate in a selected population is systematically larger than the confirmatory estimate that follows it.
